| North Cornwall has for many years attracted artists from around the world with the special quality of its light. St.Ives in particular has long been colonised by painters who have prolifically recorded many familiar scenes. This study of the harbour there, at Low Water, will evoke memories for many who have spent happy times wandering among the tide stranded fishing boats. The picture was a private commission. | ||
