KANIX was started in Norway by Kari Wilberg in the early ‘60s. Since then the Kennel has made up over 150 champions world wide in Bouviers, Schnauzers and Boxers. Kari is an International Judge and was a top breeder in Scandinavia before moving to the UK in the 80s, where she continued her winning ways!!

Ulf Brathen joined the Kennel many years ago and runs the Scandinavian side of things from his home in Denmark where he campaigns throughout Northern Europe.

Fiona Lambert joined the Kennel after buying her first puppy from Kanix in 1988. She and Kari can be found at most of the major shows in the UK and now hopefully many more in Europe with our dogs!

Kanix have 20 home bred Bouvier Champions to date in the UK. Champion Kanix Zulu has overtaken his kennel mate Ch Kanix Joshua as the all time UK breed record holder and now has 27 CCs. Champion Kanix Joshua is runner up with 18 CCs and Champion Kanix Omar is third with 17 CCs. Champion Kanix Zena is top winning bitch with 14 CCs making her 4th in the UK’s all time record table.

Kanix only breed for new show puppies and pride themselves in using the very best of European and American blood lines.
