Buses run hourly and bus stops are nearby.The Dog and Duck is our local pub and serves lunch and evening meals in a friendly atmosphere at very reasonable rates – and only a short distance away. Archway Cottage was built in1840 by the Duke of Portland to house his farm workers and families. Old Clipstone is right in the middle of Sherwood Forest and many attractions are within a very short distance of Archway Cottage. There are many beautiful walks and also a cycle track in nearby Clipstone forest. Archway Cottage offers a warm welcome. Tea and coffee facilities are included in the price of your stay and baby furniture is available on request. All clean linen is also included. A well maintained, family run holiday cottage.
