Clipstone College
A small, friendly college situated on the east fringe of Clipstone, overlooking the Nottinghamshire countryside. The college runs a variety of courses, both full and part-time, day and evening to suit all needs. Clipstone has modern computers using the latest software, such as Microsoft Office, Sage Accounting, Microsoft Visual C++ and more. Learn new skills or improve your old ones. Courses include: NVQ Using Information Technology. BTEC Diplomas in I T. Cambridge Information Technology – various Modules. Desk-top Publishing NVQ in Business Administration. Sage Accounts Basic Book-keeping Basic Food Hygiene English for Business First Aid NVQ in Childcare Classroom Assistants Stepping Out (for young people 16+) Within the College there is also a Clipstone Community Learning Centre which has ten computers and other facilities available to local people free of charge. Clipstone Community Learning centre A room has been set-aside at Clipstone College for local people to come in and use modern computers, surf the Internet, prepare CVs, write newsletters, scan images into their documents, access CD-ROMs etc. There is also a lap-top computer and a digital camera for loan.These facilities are FREE OF CHARGE!! What is the catch? There is none. The CCLC was set up for the public’s needs in mind. It is a room for the community to enjoy and use.
