Bert's Bar
Situated in Edinburgh.
This wonderful bar hosts a fine range of traditional ales, and
a mighty fine pint of Guinness as well. The new chap running the
facility has certainly put his character into the place.
Having only limited
opportunity to visit this part of the country, I always make this
my first stop on reaching Edinburgh. Along with the fine ales
etc, they produce the most amazing small pies. Steak & Peppercorn
being my particular favourite.
The decor is that of
real wood, and the atmosphere is friendly, and on many occasionally
bustling with activity.
On special sporting
occasions TV's show the action whilst not interfering with the
general feel of the place.
A quality boozer, with
excellent services and staff.
