Recent change of management
changes the face of the Fleur.

Yes you mate.
The pub is very clean,
and tidy. Regular attractions include a cracking early evening
contingent. Also known as the 5 'o' clock club. Landlord occasionally
on show. Golf, and anything else permitting.
Great car park, ideal
for rough terrain training, but well in need of improvement. Remember
drivers, keep the thumbs out from under the steering wheel, and
check you insurance first.
A fine selection of
beers, lagers, and real ales. The place moves so much Guinness,
a bad pint is almost unheard of. Also a large range of those assorted
bottled spirity pop things available.
Happy hour you ask?,
not on your life. Dream on.
We are working on it
on your behalf, but the owners don't understand. A recently refurbished
club with good beer and 'Happy Hours' may help, but again Dream
On! or get membership of the local club if you want better priced
beer.
Live music on occasional
Fridays just to scare the local residents into thinking they are
alive.
A wonderful menu on
the wall, but don't expect food - it's just a local joke to piss
off the visitors, and the starving wrecks who are gagging for
food after a rather heavy weekend.
Anything to Piss off
the desperate & poor as I understand. Though occasional exemptions
have been made. Don't mention the B word - BURGER! AHHH!! Caught
ya - It can cause offence.
Banter second to nothing.
You have to take it as well as give it though, you have been warned.
To those with a faint
heart, best sit and watch as we all get ripped to pieces. Don't
worry it all comes around!
Big TV screen for great
Footy events. Rugby, and Formula 1, also screened live.
Warning Soaps often appear at 7pm, which ain't
my cup 'o' tea. If you fancy Emmerdale at 1900 hrs, and a beer
this is the place for you. If not you have been warned don't order
a beer after 1855 without checking first. Not sure what happens
after that, I'm gone. each to their own.
Other highlights include
teams in the local pool, darts leagues, and a cracking good village
atmosphere. Some of the local charity events raise lots of money
for good causes, and are pretty successful anyway.
You just can't beat
your local can you.
Come on down, and have
a feast of entertainment, and a great time.

event. Mixed with the Jubilee, we all partied on, loads a passion!
Shame no one told the Brazilians they were not allowed to win.
