The
Story of Princess Kat
Once upon a time there was a princess
named Kat. She liked to go for royal runs before indulging in scrumptious
chocolate. Kat was content with these pleasures, but wished to share them with
a prince one day. She asked the noble ladies and gentlemen throughout the
kingdom, near and far, to help her find the prince she sought. These nobles
made valiant attempts, but no worthy prince was found. Princess Kat felt
compelled to consult the Wizard of Lavaland to find her a swift-footed,
chocolate loving mate. The Wizard was very clever, and found many eligible
princes, but Kat was an exceptional princess, and only an exceptional prince
would do.
Many moons passed, and disappointed with
the calibre of princes in Lavaland, the Princess felt prepared to close herself
in a tower with a box of Lindt morsels and a treadmill. As a last resort,
she turned to her shining orb and said "Mirror, mirror, mirror ball,
send me the hottest prince of them all." Suddenly, a burst of bubbles
appeared and Prince Matt galloped into the castle on a fine pink stallion
named Fanny. He had come from the distant island of England, and he was seeking
a partner to sail through the mountains on his beloved steed. When Princess
Kat saw Prince Matt, a twinkle came to her eye. Prince Matt saw this twinkle,
jumped with joy, and exclaimed, "I think, no, I know
that I’m falling in love with you!" Princess Kat leaped upon Fanny
and told Matt, "I want you to meet my parents " better yet, come
live with them!" The Prince tried to pass his fair lady the reins of
good Fanny, but she said, "Maybe next time."
The following day, after a good dose
of chocolate smothered strawberries, and during a gentle jog around Harrison
Lake, Prince Matt asked "will you join Fanny and me in marriage?"
Kat felt her heart sparkle with happiness and she said, "Yes, I will."
They fill each other’s days With love and laughter. Now they’ll live Happily ever after!
