Seti@Home
Home Seti there?

What is it?

Seti@Home is a project to try to find intelligent life in the Universe.  The software runs as a screen saver on your PC and takes 12 Hours plus to scan data downloaded from the Arecibo Radio Telescope, looking for intelligent radio signals.  Your PC doesn't have to be online all the time and the screen saver makes an interesting conversation piece.  You could well be famous if your PC is the one that finds Aliens!

25/01/00 - New version 2 of the software available - Check out the Seti@Home download page

12/99 - I may have got something.

12/99 - There is a cool piece of software on the Seti@Home homepage that can show you where in the sky your current Seti target is.  It's called Distant Suns 4 and can also be found here.
