July 16th we are devastated to lose our dear friend and mentor Mr Terry Thorn and our thoughts are with those closest to him at this time.
July 13th, Evesham & DCS open show, Bouncer is RBIS from an entry of 1445 dogs. Judges were Jenny Miller (Feorlig) breed, Lesley Crawley (Ragus) group and Brian Dyson (Blison) BIS.
July 3rd SWKA championship show, only Bouncer entered here, just as well really as the Mini judge was a total prat! However Bouncer was second in the champion stakes behind the Crufts group winning Beagle, the judge was Jill Peak (Bayard).
June 29th Windsor championship show no classes for Minis however we were delighted that Bouncer won Best NSC under respected judge Mrs Meriel Hathaway and strutted his stuff in the group. Not to be left out Lottie
was RBB. Unfortunately we missed the stakes classes due to the fact that the Airedale judge took 3 hours to judge 49 dogs (over one hour to judge 11 males!) sshhheeessh!
June 20th Blackpool championship show, Darcy (Kikuchi Kendera In Kofyn) in only her second junior class wins the reserve challenge certificate under respected utility specialist
Mr Ernie Paterson (Camargue), what a fantastic honour!! There were no tickets on offer for Minis and Bouncer and Lottie were reserve dog and bitch on this occasion. After Blackpool we headed off
to Dublin for the SWORDS international FCI show and although we didn't win anything we as usual enjoyed the CRAIC and loved meeting up with our Irish (North & South) friends.
June 12th Three Counties championship show, Darcy (Kikuchi
Kendera In Kofyn) wins her first junior class at her first
attempt and RBB from judge Mrs Sue Bush (Praetorian).
June 11th Three Counties championship show, Bouncer (Ch/Ir Ch Badlesmere Brabazon In Kofyn ShCM) is BD & BOB from top all rounder Mrs Zena Thorn-Andrews (Drakesleat) and Lottie (Ir Ch Kofyn Karbon Footprint) is BB & BOS!
But it didn't end there, Lottie then won the Special Yearling stakes from another top all rounder, Mrs Ann Arch (Loakespark) and then she won the Champion Stakes class on the day from Mr Bert Easdon (Yakee) - you go girl!!
June 10th Three Counties championship show, our local show, Mel handles Sandy Singleton's delightful French import Charlie, Andrew De Melcourt Von Celxo to 2nd place in PGD (Crufts here we come!) the judge was
the respected Mrs F Somerfield.
May 31st Southern Counties championship show - WOW - Bouncer is BD & BOB from American judge Mr Ron Menaker, he then goes on to take Group 4 from respected Terrier specialist Mr Les Aspin. He is the first Mini Bull to be placed this season and joins
only a handful over the years to get a championship show group placing. Not to be outdone, Lottie was RBB in breed and second in the Open Stakes under judge Mrs Stella Clark. A Big Thank You to the many folk who have congratulated Bouncer on this achievement, it is much appreciated!
May 30th Southern Counties championship show Darcy (Kikuchi Kendera In Kofyn) is Best Puppy Bitch, judge is Penny Rankine-Parsons.
May 23rd Bath Championship show, Bouncer and Lottie were BD & BB respectively in the NSC classes under judge Mrs Freda Marshall. However, Lottie (Ir Ch Kofyn Karbon Footprint) went 'Best' and was shortlisted in a very strong terrier
group by Terrier specialist Mr Paul Wilkinson! Bouncer was VHC in the champion stakes under judge Mrs Isobell Dyke.
May 16th SKC championship show Bouncer (Ch & Ir Ch Badlesmere Brabazon In Kofyn ShCM - his Show Certificate of Merit was in the post when he got home!) wins his 5th CC and BOB from judge Mrs Maureen Ward (Zabaretts). We would like to thank
Nick and Mandy Carter of the Afilador show team who very kindly allowed Malcolm and Bouncer to travel with them to SKC in the 'Big Yellow Bus', especially as they would not have gone otherwise!
May 11th Birmingham National championship show, Bouncer (Ch & Ir Ch Badlesmere Brabazon In Kofyn) is awarded his 4th CC from respected breed specialist
