BOOK: Baden-Powell

• Born Robert Stephenson Smyth, his official title was 1st Baron Baden-Powell. Although he gained great honour defending Mafeking during the Boer War of 1899-1902, he is most famous for writing the book which was to lead to his worldwide development of the Scouting Movement.
