Roland's Art Work Page

A gallery of my recent work. Unfortunately I sold some watercolours 2 years ago before I even got the chance to photograph them. I work in soft pastel, watercolour, oil and sometimes acrylic if I do a mural at home, for example.

I like a style which is bold. Even in a simple sketch, composition must be of strong character, and if I am not happy with a picture I usually destroy or deface it, in order to render the picture unusable. I will not have friends or family rescue such work, because viewing a weak picture bothers me. This does waste some material and time, but it ensures only the best works survive.
