Rare and Unrecorded Songs

This page lists, in alphabetical order, unrecorded Robert Plant and Led Zeppelin songs and other material outside their mainstream recordings. These include songs which were originally released only on single B-sides or videos (more recent releases mean that some of these are no longer so rare). Other pages list "mainstream" Led Zeppelin and later Robert Plant recordings, and songs performed live with the Priory of Brion.

Recordings marked + are included on the Sixty Six to Timbuktu compilation album.

I have not tried to list here every song that Robert has ever sung, but those which found their way onto record or which were performed regularly at some period in his career. I have come across references to other songs performed by the Band of Joy and the Honeydrippers, but I have been unable to confirm which songs were played regularly in those days.

I have transcribed the lyrics of many of those songs which have been released on record, including Robert Plant's pre-Zeppelin single releases. The list of songs below includes links to these lyric transcriptions.
