Some other odds and endsThese pages include stuff that people have asked me in Usenet, and things like that. It's basically so that I can point people to the procedure to upgrade Windows 95 to the OSR 2 version, and to tell people how to work out what version of Windows 95 they have. The HTML colour chart is exactly that -- it's a chart of colours (a rather big chart, actually) and it contains their HTML RGB triplets. I find it a useful thing to have, and so perhaps others might, so I've provided it here. I love all the acronyms that float around the Web and Usenet. Here is my collection so far; there are about 800, I think. If you have any I don't have, feel free to drop me an e-mail. Windows 95 Part 1 tells how to identify your version of Windows 95, which can be important. There are several subtly different versions available. Windows 95 Part 2 gives details of how to upgrade from the original versions of Windows 95 to an upgraded version that was released in mid-1996, as a service release. You have to trick the setup program into doing it. There is a list of cheats that people have asked me for on the cheats page. I also say my opinions on some of the games I have on the page whose title might suggest this.
