Agamemnon, one of the two sons of Atreus (the Atreidae) - the other was his brother, Menelaus. The "best man" among the Greeks, because he had the most men and ships - and the acknowledged leader. He is not a top fighter, or the best speaker, however, and his leadership abilities are often questioned. The "golden mask" was oncw thought to be a likeness of Agamemnon, but it's now known to be several hundred years earlier than the Trojan War.
