Glaucus, son of Hippolochus, cousin of Sarpedon, and sharing Bellerophon as a grandfather. Best known for his stand-off with Diomedes in Book 6, when they discover their grandfathers were xenoi - guest-friends - because Diomedes' grandfather Oeneus once entertained Bellerophon. He takes over the leadership of the Lycian contingent after Sarpedon is killed by Patroclus. He is killed by Achilles.
