Zeus wakes up, but he is not in a good mood
You are ZEUS. You wake up to see the Trojans in full flight, with your brother Poseidon leading the Greek pursuit across the plain, while poor old Hector sits spitting blood. You immediately (correctly of course) blame Hera. You remind her how you strung her up that time and left her to dangle with weights lashed to her feet. She is sorry. She will make it up to you. She even offers to call Poseidon off. But you have a better plan. Get rid of Poseidon and deliver victory to the Trojans. You will send Hera to tell Iris to tell Poseidon to go home.
