You know he was in love with her once, and would have had an affair, if he hadn't been warned off by a prophecy that any son of theirs would be mightier than his father. So Zeus arranged for her to marry a mortal, Peleus, and Achilles was weaker for having a mortal father. You suspect the pair of them were up to something - probably a deal involving your beloved Greeks getting slaughtered to help Achilles. You confront your husband. Zeus tells you to shut up, or he'll hit you. |
