| You are HEPHAESTUS. You tell your parents that their quarrel is ruining the gods' dinner - and urge your mum to apologise. You tell her it's pointless trying to fight Zeus - as you proved the hard way when he chucked you out of heaven (that's why you're lame, of course). Hera agrees. The gods enjoy their meal (ambrosia and nectar as usual, but you can't improve on perfection), and then go home to the houses you built for them. Zeus and Hera go upstairs to bed. But he can't sleep for worrying about how he can keep that promise to Thetis. |
