Diomedes and Odysseus both get criticised by Agamemnon for not being keen enough
You are DIOMEDES. Agamemnon accuses you (falsely) of hanging back, and tells you you are a lesser man than your father Tydeus, who was one of the Seven Against Thebes. You are silent and bite your tongue, while your partner Sthenelus defends you. You vow to prove your courage in action, and leap into your chariot. The battle is now underway, in all its savagery.
