Castelbuono (PA)

A very pleasant drive from the north coast up through the foothills of the Madonie mountains brings you to the desirably photogenic little town of Castelbuono - with - as it says on the tin - a remarkably good castle. The early evening light does full justice to the rose-coloured stonework.
