Clipston Beer Festival 2008 - All Saints Clipston

There has been a church on the site of All Saints since the 11th century, the current building was re-built in the 13th century with the south aisle added later. The church was restored between 1886-1888. The church has two fonts, one of Norman origin. The clock was installed for Queen Victoria’s Jubilee. In the 1980s a meeting room, kitchen and toilet facilities were added and a ringing chamber floor created to provide a choir vestry.

All Saints Church has launched a restoration appeal to provide funds to prevent deterioration and improve the facilities for all users of the building. Specifically we need to repair the leaking roof over the north aisle and replace the defunct oil fired heating boiler (which is too old for economic repair) with electric under-pew heating.

All proceeds from the beer festival will go towards the restoration fund.
