Asiandubfoundation are definitely one of the best British bands around - UK's answer to the Beastie Boys - only they're better!  Well, I know many of you will disagree, but ADF's Rafi's Revenge is the best album of 1998 so far - better than Beastie's Hello Nasty, a tiny bit better than Faithless' Sunday 8PM, and ever so slightly better than Fatboy Slim's You've Come A Long Way, Baby.  Their music has many different influences, and fans of everything from thrash-metal to drum 'n' bass love ADF.  The band have been remixed by the likes of Primal Scream, Dylan Rhymes, Maximum Roach (Apollo 440), Brendan Lynch, and have remixed, amongst others, Tanita Tikaram.  Asiandubfoundation music often has strong meanings - for example the campaign song Free Satpal Ram "Satpal attacked in a restaurant by racists/Now the brother's locked up on a lifetime basis".  ADF's stunning music has finally been recognised by the critics - Rafi's Revenge came second place in the annual Technics Mercury Music Awards 1998 - a highly prestigious award for the greatest British album of the year.  If you buy one album on my advice, buy Rafi's Revenge - You have to play it loud though - listening to ADF quietly is like watching snooker in black and white!

This is a great song, but I didn't buy it for the radio edit - I bought it for the Maximum Roach remix, which rules - check out the apollo 440 page for exclusive info on the hottest new surf-jungle band
