History
Bamboo are a dance act which have had two hit singles so far this year.  Their style of dance is pure pop, which resulted in the first single, Bamboogie, becoming one of the biggest selling singles of 1998 (The 8-month chart put them at number 39, so them will not be in the end-of-year top 40 with that song, but for a dance single of that type, it has still sold a lot).
