| BlueBoy burst onto the scene with
the amazingly simple and catchy Remember Me in Spring 1997. The song still sounds
cool and fresh nearly two years later, and is definitely one of the best dance singles of
the 90s. The song went top ten, and bounced up and down the charts for ages.
Sandman was released later in the year, and was a small top-twenty hit - although nothing
compared to Remember Me, it was still a quality release. BlueBoy also remixed the
theme from The Professionals - to great effect. We have not heard from The BlueBoy
in quite a while, which is a shame. I have no idea what he is getting up to, but
hopefully there will be something new from him in the future. |

| After the astonishing success of
'Remember Me' earlier this year, the Scottish bloke that nobody knows anything about makes
a comeback, with his very cool new track. The question is, will the British music-buying
public 'Remember Him?'.... Of course they will - he's too good to forget. NOT a one-hit
wonder. This is a brilliant follow up with six excellent remixes. In some ways 'Sandman'
is far superior to his last single, in others not so. Just go and buy it anyway, because
it is really very good indeed! |
