biography

Up there with the Prodigy in terms of global dance success, The Chemicals (Tom & Ed) are one of the most talented dance acts around.  They have released two stunning LPs, plus a mix album, and loads of fantastic singles.  The brothers (who are not actually related) have had the likes of Beth Orton and Noel Gallagher for guest vocals on tracks and have remixed everyone from Manic Street Preachers to Prodigy to Republica - all to great effect.  The chemicals have decided to take a year or so off tostart thier own indie label, which is sure to be superb.

The original big beat superstars make a triumphant return

This is the first taster of the Chemical Brother's third proper album, Surrender, which is schedualed for release on June 21.  This superb 4 minute track features everything you've grown to love about the 'bros', and some unexpected housey refrains - if this is what the rest of the album's gonna be like, then we're in for a chemical future

Number one follow up to Setting Sun

More from the biggest brothers in Rock/Dance/Pop.... bigger than BROS, and they aren't even related.... This particular CD has These Beats Were Made For Breakin, which is cool, and a great Dust Brothers remix (See Remix of the Week). Another typically cool Chemical sleeve, as featured in the inlay of the album this is taken from, Dig You Own Hole (which rules).

True fans-only limited edition epic single

The Chemical Brothers are back. After two number one singles, and a number one (Mercury Prize nominated) album, they've built up a massive fan base. Now, they release the fourth single from 'Dig Your Own Hole' - limited to a mere 20,000 copies, of which I have one!! Number 09735 to be exact. The single will not make the official UK sales chart, because the Chemical Brothers deliberately went against their rules, and gave away a free sticker and poster with the package. They figured as the track is 9 minutes long, it would not be played on the radio anyway, so why bother try to get it in the chart. They decided to make TPPR a gift to the fans instead.
