| Single number four from
Deejay is the fantastic new Onyx remix of the classic LP track Rock-In It.
Although none of the tracks on this EP quite reachers the peak of I Hate Everybody
(Jam Master Jay Remix), the whole Onyx remix project is inspired by that very remix
(Mackie's World Remix of the Year 1998). A new Mosh Up Mix of I
Hate Everybody is one of the three tracks, and is quite good (Especially if you
haven't heard the Jam Master Jay mix!). B-Side The World Is My Ash-Tray
is the best of the three tracks - the lead track being slightly dissapointing considering
how long we have been waiting for it, though it is very interesting in places,
particularly at the beginning. Definitely worth a purchase - as with all Punk-Roc
singles, this CD will get played so often by me, in a hundred different CD players across
the country, that it won't play anymore! I know it'll happen - it always does - I
got so frustrated when I scratched the Far Out single to the point of no return, and
couldn't find a replacement... |

| The second single from
DeeJay Punk-Roc - it features a load of cool remixes, but they're for the UK only, so I
won't go into them, but the song itself is cool - though not as good as My Beatbox (And
the video isn't as good either - the first one had people with radios on their heads!).
The original controversy about DeeJay seems to have gone now - Apparently, he sent out two
press photos of completely different people, and no-one knew which (if any) was real -
also, they didn't believe he was American (He sounds a bit French and sounds very British
at the same time). The Jam Master Jay remix of I Hate Everybody rocks! |
