| Puerto Rican Huey from
FLC doesn't have a car - he has a BMX bike, yet he's a member of "The coolest band in
the world" as VOX so famously put it. He's also written a song about his dog, and
lost 40% of his brilliant debut album Come Find Yourself's royalties to Quentin
Tarrantino. Well, this is the come back single, which, at first, sounds a bit pants, but
after listening to it endlessly on MTV and Radio 1, I've grown to like it very much. The
lyrics talk about how Barry White saved his life - and it's got nothing to do with any
heroics by Barry or anything like that, but actually about how Barry White records taught
him that women aren't horrible etc. |
