The silliest film of 1997 has arrived. It has to be seen, just because it is so sad! Parts of it are actually funny - even if you are laughing at the girls, rather than with them. At one point it is revealed that Geri is actually Bob Hoskins! Gary Barlow (Ex Take That) is made fun of, so that's a bonus. You get to see all the spice girls fat and old, and see them dress up as each other. The main thing that spoils this (other than the fact that only the Mels can act) is that there is product placement at every conceivable minute. They use Polaroid cameras, play Sony Playstations, constantly drink Pepsi, eat Walkers crisps, and in every scene at least one spice girl is sucking on a Chupa Chups lollypop (It seems).
