The Society offers 2 main types of membership:
Full Membership
This is currently restricted to practising graduates of either the College of Holistic Medicine or the Natural Therapeutics Research Trust (NTRT) massage courses or the College of Holistic
Medicine counselling or psychotherapy courses.
There are 2 categories of full membership:
Associate Membership
At present, this is restricted to graduates of the College of Holistic Medicine (CHM) and the Natural Therapeutics Research Trust (NTRT)
massage courses who are not practicing professionally and do not want their names sent to enquirers. It is also available to current studentsof
the College of Holistic Medicine.
Associate members will be sent the Society's newsletter together with information about new courses, tuition weekends and other activities
of the College of Holistic Medicine and of the Society. They will also receive each year a list of the full and associate members of the Society.
The difference is simply that professional indemnity insurance is compulsory in the first category but optional in the second.
There is no difference in benefits. Since there are circumstances in which you may find it desireable to belong to a membership category in
which insurance is compulsory, we recommend joining as an insured full member if you obtain insurance.
