Your photographs are scanned harmlessly to create a digital image which we can then restore or manipulate. Your restored photographs can then be printed on photographic paper and transferred to CD or emailed back to you. If you don't want to send your original photographs through the post, you can scan them yourself and send them by email, please telephone or email for details.

Restoring the Past will not intentionally copy or reproduce any photograph or other document which is known to be protected by copyright. Whoever takes the photograph generally owns the copyright. If the photograph is the work of a professional photographer or photographic studio their written permission must be granted before we can reproduce it. If you do not know the studio or photographer, the general rule is that copyright lasts for the lifetime of the photographer plus 50 years.
