Vosta LMG successful in Iran • A new contract for a CSD500S is signed • In partnership with shipyard Iran Marine Industrial Group (SADRA) a CSD500S has been delivered VOSTA LMG recently received a contract for the delivery of an engineering and components package for a CSD500S from a customer in Iran. This contract entails building a self-propelled CSD500S. The dredger will be built in Iran and is scheduled to be ready in 2005. The owner plans to use the dredge for deepening the basin and maintenance work in the area of Chabahar in Iran.
CSD500S delivered Recently VOSTA LMG delivered a CSD500S to SADRA Industrial and Marine Group. This project, which was won in 2002 by VOSTA LMG has been executed with partner shipyard Iran Marine Industrial Group (SADRA). VOSTA LMG has completed the basic engineering and delivered the dredger systems - electrical, hydraulic and diesel installation, and other components such as the cutter, cutter ladder front part, spud carrier and dredge pump. Partner shipyard SADRA assembled the dredge under the supervision of the VOSTA LMG project manager, onsite. The CSD500S a dismountable type, equipped with a VOSTA SC10 cutting system, onboard accommodation for 4 crew members and is designed to work on maintenance projects in the Caspian Sea area. Furthermore VOSTA LMG commissioned the dredger and provided a crew training course. The CSD500S was built at the Iran Marine Industrial Group (SADRA) shipyard in Neka, Iran for PSO (Port and Shipping Organisation). The dredger received the name "Shahid Rashidi" and has been handed over to PSO.
