Yundum Airport to Kairaba Hotel, The Gambia

We arrived at Yundum airport at approximately 5pm. The first birds we saw were Cattle Egrets. There were about 20 of them on the grassy areas at the airport. Pied Crows and Hooded Vultures were patrolling the skies while we waited for our transfer coach to fill up before heading for the Kairaba Hotel. I saw a few raptors along the roadside along the way but didn’t have time to identify them from the coach. I think one of them was a Western Banded Snake Eagle but I’m not sure enough of the ID to tick it.
