Icemeler, Turkey

Not exactly a birding day. We spent some time on the beach and hired a pedalo. We paddled towards the island in Icmeler bay and saw many Alpine Swifts. They were nesting amongst the rocks on the island. A buzzard like raptor soaring over the island defied identification because I didn't have my binoculars with me, as did another different bird of prey flying towards Turunc, but a male Blue Rock Thrush perched prominently on a rock gave good views.
