I visited the cliff again in the hope that I was wrong in thinking that the Peregrines had gone. I was!.When I got there I watched one if them flying around the valley and repeatedly attack some Carrion Crows which sought sanctuary in a hawthorne bush. The Peregrine then flew off to return two hours later with it's mate close behind. One of the pair probably went to their eyrie but I missed it as I was watching the other bird leave the area. I stayed an hour or so longer but didn't see either bird again.
