See previous entry for location description.
As we walked toward the cliff we saw a Buzzard soaring above the hillside. Soon afterward we saw two Kestrels hovering and swooping toward the ground together. The Buzzard appeared and again and was followed by a soaring Sparrowhawk.
At the cliff we could see one of the adult Peregrines perched in the usual place but there was no sign of life at the eyrie itself. We waited for about half an hour before two more Peregrines came over the hill on the other side of the valley. They played together on the wing for a while and were later joined by a third, smaller Peregrine. Through the telescope I could see that at least two of them were juveniles. I was very pleased to see that the falcons had raised at least two young this year.
