JOHN STEVEN CLOSE

John was born in Honeypot Lane, London.  Since 1970, he has been writing songs and is a fine guitarist, mandolin, keyboard/piano and fiddle player.  He was in at the start of the IT revolution and is still fascinated by computers, especially music-making programmes.  Sadly, he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease on March 1st 2001.  Since then, he has worked hard to get all of his songs saved onto CD and in MP3 format for posterity: the selection available here has been approved by him and the footnotes to the songs are his.  More songs are available on request: please send an e-mail to undiscovered.genius@connolley.co.uk and a full list will be sent by return!
