TURNER-BRAGG
Samuel Hammond TURNER, a buttonmaker, married Elizabeth Woodall BRAGG but we know not where or when. In his will he left his horse Jack to his brother William. He must have left his widow well provided for as several of her children are to be found at boarding schools (rather than working for a living) in the 1851 census.
This amazing depiction of a man who died in 1841 is, apparently, taken from a drawing.
