Minsk/Belorus

Minsk is the capital city of Belorus

(sometimes spelled Belarus)

This country was known as Byelorussia until quite recently but when the former USSR broke up into its component parts Byelorussia, or White Russia as it is translated into English became a sovereign state once again.

Belorus is a country with some ten million inhabitants about one million or so living in the capital, Minsk. We have friends there, very good friends and very nice people. On this page we will tell you about them and their life in that country. As the page develops we may even show you some pictures.
