We are situated alongside the River Yare at Brundall. Located just 15 miles from the open sea. The marina is only a few minutes from the railway station and the thriving village of Brundall. The historic City of Norwich is only 6 miles away. Norwich is a thriving shopping centre with many tourist attractions. Norwich also has regular rail links to London. Norwich International airport has flights to UK and Europe.

There are local shops 1 mile away and 2 good pubs nearby. The coast with beaches and wildlife are an easy drive away and the Norfolk Broads on the doorstep.

Many say the broads are at their best in the winter. Enjoy the sight of thousands of overwintering migrant birds and waterfowl. Some of the best pike fishing in Britain just yards away from your cockpit. Who knows, you may even find time to do some work on the boat.

Facilities.

With finger pontoons (further pontoon information from VersaDock) and quay heading providing access, each berth has electric and water facilities. Car parking is close to each berth. The shower, toilets and laundry have disabled access and berth holders have a key entry system for these.

Each bathroom has a shower, toilet, hand basin with hand dryer and hair dryer. The laundry room has a token operated washing machine and dryer.

Wi-Fi facilities for connection to the internet are available.

Services for the boat owner include; hauling out facilities and hard standing. Brundall is renowned for having comprehensive marine services. These are within walking distance of the marina.

Our Environment.

Norfolk is the ideal place to go boating. With 150 miles of inland safe cruising, several towns and villages to explore, the sea only a short trip away. You are just spoilt for choice. Eastwood Marina is ideally located just off the River Yare, the moorings have easy access to the main river and are accessible at all states of the tide - you can enjoy your boat for 12 months of the year!

It is perfect countryside to cycle, so dig out the wheels, perfect to go to that pub 2 miles away or just to potter around the quiet lanes and enjoy the peace, the wildlife and the cleanest air in Britain.

Eastwoods has a unique location, a huge bird sanctuary and Strumpshaw fen nature reserve a few hundred yards downstream . Surlingham Broad another sanctuary is opposite the moorings. If you like wildlife & nature but like to be near to civilisation then you may find this is your heaven. Even otters have been seen swimming and fishing around the moorings. Swallows and Amazons eat your heart out, coot club was never like this…...

As members of The Yacht Harbours Association with 4 Golden Anchors awarded, Eastwood Marina constantly strives to provide excellent facilities for its' customers.

Permanent berth holders are also members of the Transeurope Marina Group which allows upto 5 days mooring at other Transmanche facilities at 50% discount. Participating marinas are located along the south coast, France, Belgium & Holland. This is ideal for cruising.

Location of Eastwood Marina.

East Anglia is fast becoming a favourite location for leisure sailors. The River Yare boasts beautiful rural countryside and deep water moorings from the coast right into the heart of Norwich. The sea is about a two hour cruise away from Eastwoods. You can choose to enter the sea from Gt.Yarmouth or Lowestoft via the River Waveney.

How to find us.

Eastwood Marina is situated in Brundall 1.5 miles away from the A47. By car London is 2 hours away via the M11. The Midlands via the A14 about 2.5 hours. By air we are 3/4 hour from Schipol and the rest of the world is only time away.

From Norwich take the A47 towards Great Yarmouth. At the Brundall roundabout, take the 3rd exit into Brundall village. Follow the signs to the railway station, cross over the railway line and follow the road to Eastwood Marina.
