Haddington Show 2005
This years Haddington show was a great success for the association with three potential new members coming to see us. It would have been even better with more people available to man the stand. As always the observation hive was very popular with Alan kept busy all day. Pat’s mead tasting went down a storm with the older visitors whilst the youngsters got stuck into the honey tasting – can they have bigger spoons next year please!!! They were also entertained by George as he took them through a full hive inspection complete with ‘virtual’ bees. The candle rolling was particularly popular with over 70 candles made
