NEVER LET GO:  1960 Film.

Crime Thriller set in East London.  A man unwittingly tracks down the mastermind
of a gang of racketeers, whilst looking for his stolen car.  Also starring Peter Sellers
who sheds his usual comedic image to play the ruthless and brutal gang boss.

BUDGIE:  1970s ITV drama which ran to two series.

This series of 26 episodes, written by Keith Waterhouse, starred Adam as a
chirpy cockney, just out of prison, and scraping a living on the edge of the law.
His co-star was Iain Cuthbertson, as the scheming villain Charlie Endell who
employed Budgie.  
Two series, each of 13 episodes were made

Each series is a 4-DVD box set.

 


McVICAR:  1980 Film.

Drama based on the true life story of professional British criminal John McVicar. 
The film strongly depicts the brutal aspects of British prison life, but follows McVicar
into his eventual rehabilitation.
Co-starring Roger Daltry, along with Adam, and with music by The Who.

FOXES:  1980 Film.

Tells the story of four young girls growing up in the San Fernando valley, with all the
usual teenage problems, and who get themselves in to plenty of trouble. 
Stars Jodie Foster, with Adam playing the part of Bryan.

MINDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS:  1985 ITV Drama.

Feature-length episode of the "Minder" TV series which stars George Cole as Arthur
Daley, and Dennis Waterman as Terry McCann.  Adam Faith plays the part of 
James Crane in this one-off special.

 

 


LOVE HURTS:  1990s BBC drama which ran to three series.

Zoë Wanamaker and Adam Faith star in this compelling BBC drama of the inconvenient love between a disillusioned businesswoman and a millionaire plumber. Tracing the developments of their relationship through emotional struggles and pressures of work.
