Greetings fellow worshippers at the lard soaked alter of Drooper! Without any further ado, let's drift onwards into the blue skies of future trips...
27-29 June - The Cheviot Hills, Northumberland
A camping trip in the so far un-droopered territory of Northumberland. We'll be staying at a campsite near Wooler, GR 983292 on the big friendly yellow map number 16. The place is just west of Wooler, near Humbleton Mill. According to Dave Lawrie, there's plenty of excellent walking and climbing plus "loads of castles and fish and chip shops", so brush the mould off yer tents and get yer arses up there!
Trips Coming Up
25-27 July - Camping in Capel Curig, North Wales
22-24 August - Camping at Grange in the Lake District
26-28 September - Hut trip to Yorkshire, maybe Bulpot, but not if we can help it...
24-26 October - Hut trip to Ystrafellte, South Wales
21-23 November - Hut trip to Coetmor Mill, North Wales
12-14 December - Outrageous alchol binge trip to Gradbach, Peak District
New Year - Torrid goings on in Torridon
Now That's What I Still Call Bollocks
You can't get it in the shops, but you can get it from Bob Squatter, and we're not talking syphillis here. Yes, the Super Drooper album "Now That's What I Call Bollocks", is still still available from Bob at the bargain price of one blank tape. If you want a copy, please send a C90 tape, an SAE and an interesting personal problem to Bob at 59 Miranda Rd, London, N19 3RA. Don't fight it, you know you want it!
Party in Coventry Shocker
Graham and Martina are having a barbie-cum-evening-thing at their house in Coventry on Sat 12 July, and all Super Droopers are invited! If you fancy coming along for a quick sausage (or an outrageous drinking frenzy), give Graham or Martina a ring on (01203) 675988. There's plenty of room for people to crash over/under/out - all you need is a sleeping bag!
lurve,
