Cheers to Jock who is the first to get them in, and for proving me right ...... it IS possible to complete the challenge within one season! Somehow Jock managed to hang on at Man Utd until January and then with a little luck was offered the job at the league's bottom club, Scarborough, a matter of weeks later! The 12 points he actually managed to score at Scarborough were his attempt to stay at the team until they were actually relegated .... so the challenge to beat Jock is now on! Its gonna be tough to complete the challenge before 5.5.98, but that performance point total can be beaten I am sure!

AND IT HAS BEEN DONE!! Yep, by me, your friendly host with the most! Lookie here, sacked by Man U over a week earlier than Jock, but with a higher points score, god knows how; every result I got was classified "abysmal". Look at my goals against column for proof! Then I waited and waited .... the scarborough job was given to Asa Hartford before - joy of joys! - I got given the position at Darlington, who were second bottom. Four terrible defeats later and BOOM, down we go! Highlights? Well a honourable mention goes to the 22 - 0 home defeat by Blackburn than finally got me out of Old Trafford .. Chris Sutton scoring no less than 14 goals! So now you all know what has to be done. If anyone can get themselves sacked from Man U in 1997, I wanna know how!
