Michael: Good morning Jackie.
Four items for a time capsule, a hundred years' time it is going to be
opened. Well the first is a nice item it is a bottle of Le Freud
whisky which is a single malt and probably in about a hundred years time
will be absolutely delicious and I'd love to be there to drink it.
Second, I actually want to put in
some leaflets and information on a charity I'm involved with, ROC, Research
Into Ovarian Cancer because I'm pretty sure that in 100 years time we'll
have found a cure and it will be interesting for people to see exactly
what the problems were 100 years ago.
The third item is going to be two
apples. One an ordinary apple that is grown properly and the second
will be one that is GM modified because I should imagine in 100 years time
that it will still be fresh and you will be able to eat it, and I hope
they don't have any problems like we are at the moment with GM food.
And the fourth final item, which
is a musical item, is going to be ;We'll Keep A Welcome In The Hillside'
- a great Welsh song - I've just come back from the Rugby World Cup, from
the closing ceremony and sang it with Shirley Bassey and Bryn Terfel and
I'm pretty sure Wales will still be keeping a welcome so I think it would
be nice for people to hear that.
We'll Keep A Welcome is now being
played on the Radio.
Jackie: Thank you very much
to Michael Ball for joining us.
