Class rules allow up to  12:1 advantage, we have achieved this with a 3:1 ratio cascaded with a 2:1 cascaded with a 2:1. The view below is of the vang attached to the boom and clearly shows the cascaded block arrangement. Note the none dayglow rope is tied off on the triple block on the mast.
