Campaigns

I am currently playing in several campaigns.

Devils Canyon II

One with my friend Mike. This campaign is being moderated by PC, using a program written by Dave in Delphi. Mike is playing FSE and i am NSL. I believe Mike will win this campaign as this is my first.

I correctly saw the outcome of this campaign as mike annihilated me. This campaign has now finished.

Argolis Cluster II

The second campaign is with Paul (NAC), Dave (ESU), Mike (FSE) and me (NSL). This campaign interests me much more than the other as there is no resource management, just battles, looking forward to some three or four way battles.

Well at the moment this campaign has reached a quite interesting point with Mike and Paul virtually destroying each others big fleets although Paul does look to have the advantage over Mike at this point. I have been worn down due to several miss matched encounters. And Dave has lost interest a bit so he still has loads of ships but isn't doing anything.

Gardens of Kadesh

This campaign is being moderated by Mike and is based on the PC game Homeworld.

Paul is playing NAC and i am playing NSL. Both myself and Paul have now abandoned this campaign, due to the fact that we both have 5 large fleets and there are no more resources. And we don't want to spend the several years that it will take to complete the battle.

Mikes New Campaign

This campaign is another of mikes, but using the new alien races out of fleet book 2. I am playing Sa'Vasku. Paul is playing Kra'Vak, Mike Phalons and Bryan one of the human races from Fleet Book 1. This should be very interesting.

The Briar Patch

This campaign is has been devised by Paul. However i thought it would be an interesting idea if each player designed their own ships. Each player is using six designs, 24 TMF, 35 TMF, 50 TMF, 80 TMF, 140 TMF and 210 TMF. My designs are as follows.

Battle For EQ Peqgasi

Also i am taking part in Paul's pre-written Battle for EQ Pegasi campaign. See here for details.

Siege of Lienz

This is another of Pauls narrative campaigns and is based around the alien incursions into human space.

So far i have played one battle as Sa'Vasku against Paul playing Kra'Vak. I made an error early on which meant that i lost an SDN which i don't think i needed to loose, but i still beat Paul quite convincingly, which was a bit of a shock.

I have now played a second battle against Phalons which i also won quite convincingly, even more of a shock. This is having an unfortunate side effect of other players saying oh no Sa'Vasku Fleet of Doom (tm), run away run away! See here for details.

Due to complaints from other players saying the Sa'Vasku are unbalanced we have tried to balance them by using range bands of 6/16/24/32/40/48 for Stinger Nodes but this makes the Sa'vasku too weak. We are now going to try playing them with Non Advanced Drives.

Power Projection

I am in control of the NAC 5th fleet, this is a narrative campaign and a bit of a records fest.

I have just started this and i will try to keep a log of what is happening. See here for details.

Well i have failed totally in keeping up to date with events in Power Projection But here is a recap up to turn 30.

I have had to deal with some pirate activities which i believe that i have cleared up and they wont be coming back.

There have been a couple of attacks by The ESU which i have fought off. One of which was at a major NAC shipyard.

The main problem i have been having is with the Kra'Vak, i have suffered quite high losses against them and i hope that they are going to stay away now, as there isn't going to be much left of the NAC fifth fleet with these kind of losses.
