What Do I Listen To

Music

I mainly listen to Rock and "Heavy Metal" especially bands like;

Anthrax,

Metallica,

Slayer,

Megadeth,

Pantera,

NOFX,

Dancehall Crashers,

Danzig,

Perl Jam.

My favorite band must be Metallica who have continued to improve their ability and produced better and better music with each album they have released.

My favorite tracks are; "Fade to Black", "Nothing Else Matters", "Fuel", "Battery", "Unforgiven", "Unforgiven II", "Whiplash" and probably their best "Bleeding Me".

I have just got S&M, Metallica Performing with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, excellent stuff.

Although a close second is Slayer who are much better live than Metallica.

Favorite tracks include; Angel of Death, Dead Skin Mask; Reign inBlood, South of Heaven.

Their album Reign in Blood is probably the best Thrash Metal album that there will ever be and is probably my favorite album.

I also like a wider and more diverse range of music, depending on mood,this includes;

Opera and Classical music,Female vocals such as Alanis Morrisette, Sheryl Crow, Garbage also much to my surprise, Maddona's latest album "Ray of light".

I don't tend to like clubs as i hate Dance and Techno, although i often frequent Rock City in Nottingham.

Metallica - New album

HiFi

As i enjoy music i am currently improving my Separates. At the moment the main components of my system are;

	Meridian SP551 Integrated Amplifier,
	B&W DM 603 Speakers,
	Marantz CD 63 Mk II KI Signature CD Player.

I also have an Aiwa tape deck and a Sony Mini Disc recorder.

In the new year, 2000, i plan to upgrade my system a bit adding a Meridian 556 power amplifier and replacing the Marantz CD Player with the following Meridian 500 CD Transport, Meridian 566 24 bit DAC and a Meridian 518 DSP.

Well the above is now on hold due to a severe lack of space, this has resulted in me buying a Hitachi mini / micro hi fi thing as this is all that will fit in my room. My mom is now enjoying my real hi fi, to listen to the radio.
