Some cartoons relating to Hilbert's paradox of the Grand Hotel

Yesterday I noticed, serendipitously, a wikipedia page about Hilbert's paradox of the Grand Hotel.

Hilbert's paradox of the Grand Hotel

I do not remember knowing of this before, though I might perhaps have read of it in a book years ago.

I started to read.

I then thought, going creative-writingly around it, about the humour of what could happen in the thought experiment so I started Serif DrawPlus X5 and looked in the Serif DrawPlus X5 Gallery for some clip art so as to produce a cartoon.

I found the Butler, but looking for a lady who could be a hotel guest did not produce a result, so I creative-writingly incorporated the elephant into the picture.

As I read various parts I produced some cartoons using the Serif DrawPlus X5 drawing programme, using clip art that is supplied with the program, resizing images and sometimes horizontally flipping the images.

Here are the results.

The clip art for the elephant and the clip art for the dinosaur were each flipped horizontally.
