Scenery Files for FS98. HONEYBOURNE, LONG MARSTON and BIDFORD. Version 1.0 Honeybourne and Long Marston were Aerodromes used by the Royal Air Force during the 1939 to 1945 War. Bidford Gliding Centre was formed some years after the war and is used mainly for gliders. The three locations form a triangle. Honeybourne is three miles from Bidford and seven miles from Long Marston. Long Marston is today known as Avon Park and is a few miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. It is suggested that after loading the files into ......\FlightSimulator\Scenery\Europe\Scenery folder, that one goes to Birmingham UK and heads south or selects the radio signal 118.00. You will soon see at about 30 miles distant the three specks showing the airfields. As you approach, Stratford-upon-Avon town is to the left. Proceeding further the aerodrome to the left is Long Marston, the middle one is Honeybourne and the right one is Bidford Gliding Centre. There are three Runways at both Honeybourne and Long Marston, whilst at the Bidford Gliding Centre the landing area is a grass strip, just over 100 yards wide. With the Cessna all three locations have a 'Land Me' facility. Basic files for the area are ngo98_1.bgl ngo98_2.bgl ngo98_3.bgl ngo98_4.bgl ngo98_6.bgl There is not an exclusion file. This is my first attempt at Scenery design. Please email me at ngo@globalnet.co.uk if you experience any problems with this add-on. Norman Overington Member Number 19 of Flight Simulator User Group UK
