How to make a Daisy Picot |

Using Wsh1 make a double as normal, holding the Wsh2 thread ready for the next part. In the case of the following pattern - leave ends of approximately 18". This part of the stitch I refer to in the pattern as R |
Drop Wsh1 and using Wsh2, without turning the knot (as in second side of a split ring) work as instructed. This part of the stitch I refer to in the pattern as DPR |
The ring should start to show as above. Follow directions given in the pattern. |

Add 12 beads to Wsh2 Leave ends of 18” on both shuttles to work final SR. Using Wsh1 – work as follows :-
*R: 1 SS DPR: 1 SS* Repeat from * to * once more R: 1 SS DPR: 4 – 2– 2 (RoDPR3 – 3 BBB 3 – 3 Cl) 2 – 2 – 4 *R: 1 SS DPR: 1 SS* Repeat from * to * once more R: 1 SS DPR: 4 – 2 – 2 BBB 2 – 2 – 4 SS *R: 1 SS DPR: 1 SS* Repeat from * to * once more R: 1 SS DPR 4 – 2 – 2 BBB 2 – 2 – 4 SS *R: 1 SS DPR: 1 SS* Repeat from * to * once more R: 1 SS DPR: 4 – 2– 2 (RoDPR3 – 3 BBB 3 – 3 Cl) 2 – 2 – 4 *R: 1 SS DPR: 1 SS* Repeat from * to * once more R: 1 Close Ring Using Wsh1 make SR SR: *R: 1 SS DPR: 1 SS* Repeat from * to * three times R: 1 / |

Using the beginning tail of Wsh1 and the beginning tail of Wsh2 to finger tat the second half. To make the DPR on this side (using the dead spider technique) I hold the Wsh1 tail with a pinch formed by my third finger and the thumb. Not easy but worth the effort for a few stitches! *R: 1 SS DPR: 1 SS* Repeat from * to * three times R: 1 Cl Tie knots in the working threads close to the last ds worked and then knots about an inch further away to form the feelers. Cut.For any help or if you find any mistakes, please email me |
